B430 is a youth “bucket list” travel show produced for Channel [V]. This is much of the Episode from Iceland. The first half is Reykjavik, and the second in the wild. It was a challenging place to shoot, just because it was so hard to put the cameras down and not shoot absolutely everything.
There’s more to Spanish Islands than Ibiza. Formentera is smaller, cooler, and is more chilled. We filmed here for the B430 series and it was a great find.
The brief for this travel series was not to film the regular touristy stuff. So rather than go to The Louvre, we filmed and the wonderfully strange Museum of Hunting and Nature.
Filming Danny do a climb in the Japanese wilderness was really challenging, but lots of planning, an expert crew and guide, and lots of cameras, and I think the thrill translates.
One of the most interesting things we got to film in Rio was inside the enormous favela at the end of Ipanema beach.
